ABSTRACT
Keratitis is a condition in which the eye's cornea becomes inflamed. The causes of disease, include infection, dry eyes, physical or chemical injury, and other diseases. The objective of the present study to formulate nanosized dispersion of gatifloxacin ionotropic gelation method and then incorporate gelling agent consist of carbopol to produce nanogel. The formulations characterized by size and surface diameter using SEM and Zetasizer. FTIR and DSC studies also determine the compatibility of drug and excipient. The formulations are also characterized by invitro diffusion and skin permeability study. he nanogel formulation showed the promising treatment for bacterial characterized.
